Dayane's departure unfolds in the lives of those she left behind. Her mother, Marluce, tries hard not to show the shock her daughter's departure caused her. Dayane's younger sister, Mariana, faces some problems at the new school where she is going. Antônio, Dayane's fiancé, finds himself in a void in the face of her departure and obsessively searches for answers.
